BREAKING NEWS: PG Underwater

The torrential rains brought raising water and every low lying area in the Toledo District was subjected to flooding. From around 11:00 PM on ( Saturday, August 26th)  the water had already risen to knee height in certain areas of Punta Gorda Town and the homes of many residents had an uninvited guest.

This Morning the Belize National Meteorological Service issued a flood alert for southern Belize. Many streets, roadways, and access points remain impassable
