HISTORIC JOE TAYLOR BRIDGE

The Joe Taylor Bridge is one of the oldest bridges in Belize. Since before Independence Day, there has been little to no repairs done to the bridge. More and more residents of Punta Gorda and Toledo District are growing concerned about the condition of the bridge especially now that the steel is exposed. Residents are scared that the bridge will eventually collapse and cause a major accident. They are appealing to the government to do something about the current condition of this historic bridge.
