Littering

We recently ran a story of the beach side sheds that were trashed by residents. The littering included glass and plastic bottles along with Styrofoam plates. Tonight that same lack of civic pride took place at the Joe Taylor Bridge docking area here in Punta Gorda. It can clearly be seen that someone disposed of their garbage after a boating trip. We are asking the public to be mindful and dispose all garbage at the right places.  This is not only an eye soar but it is also illegal to litter in our community. We want to remind the public that littering is an offense that can carry a hefty fine.
