National Fishers Folk Meeting Was Held In Dangriga On 31st, January

Preservation and sustainability of our natural resources should be priory in our daily lives. When it comes to our fisheries especially, it is essential that we take good care of it. On Thursday, January 31st, The European Union, TIDE, Belize Fisheries Department, SEA, and Belize Audubon Society are conducting its National Fisher Folk meeting in Dangriga. The attention of all fishers of Area 3, 4, 5 and 7 are all invited to attend. The main purpose of the meeting is for fishers in these areas to discuss the implementation of manage access and to get the latest updates and be a part of the discussion.
