International Women’s Day Walk.

Last Friday, March 8th, the Toledo District Gender-Based Violence Committee and the Police Department’s Domestic Violence Unit in Punta Gorda Town took to the streets of Punta Gorda to celebrate International Women’s Day and the beginning of Women’s Month, which lasts throughout March. Women are a crucial part of the country’s development and play vital roles in various aspects. The walk is to show respect for all women in Belize and advocate for those experiencing any form of domestic violence.
