Ya’axche Reveals Damming Report Inside The Colombia Forest Reserve

The Colombia Forest Reserve is recognized as one of the most biologically diverse reserves in the hemisphere, making it one of Belize’s most important protected areas. For years, PGTV has reported on the ongoing encroachment within the reserve. Two years ago, the Belize Territorial Volunteers entered the reserve and exposed illegal logging activities, yet no action was taken. Now, the Ya’axché Conservation Trust has revealed that even greater damage has since occurred.
