UB Toledo Graduation 2024

On October 20th, the University of Belize Toledo Campus held its graduation ceremony, celebrating the accomplishments of 93 students who completed their Associate, Bachelor’s, and master’s degrees in various fields of study. Seventy-five of these students proudly marched down the aisle, marking a significant milestone in their lives. Among the graduates, 24 were from the Faculty of Education and Arts, 6 from the Faculty of Health Sciences, 52 from the Faculty of Management and Social Sciences, and 11 from the Faculty of Science and Technology. PGTV extends heartfelt congratulations to all 93 graduates as they embark on their journey to contribute to the improvement and development of Belize.

It is an invasive  species that poses a serious threat to the marine environment. One  organization, known as FINS, which stands for Fighting Invasive  and Non-Native Species, is taking action to reduce the lionfish population.  The organization has a team that is not only removing this invasive species  but also using it as a way to generate income.

BYRISE 3rd Annual Summer Camp

BYRISE’s 3rd Annual Summer Camp came to a close on Friday July 24th. At the conclusion of the camp, certificates were presented to the young participants. For the first time, the camp also concluded with an exhibition baseball game, giving some of the children the opportunity to play in their very first baseball game.
