As the Garifuna celebrations continue, the National Garifuna Council has organized a series of events set to take place in Punta Gorda Town. One of the main events is the Miss Garifuna Pageant. On Saturday, November 2nd, the NGC Pieni Branch hosted their pageant, where four candidates competed for the title of Miss Garifuna Pieni 2024-2025. The contestants were Vashti Valerio, Aliyah Lambert, Darina Ramos, and Tiricy Colon. At the end of the contest, Darina Ramos won the title of Miss Garifuna Pieni 2024-2025 and will represent Punta Gorda at the national level in Belmopan. Tiricy Colon placed second in the competition.
