Plenty Receives $600k+ Grant For Solar & Water Access

Plenty International Belize has received a grant to support solar energy and water access in two rural communities across Belize. The grant, valued at more than six hundred thousand Belize dollars, was awarded through the Global Environment Facility’s Small Grants Program. The project will benefit two rural communities: Boom Creek Village in Toledo and Green Tail Village. The grant was officially presented during Climate Week activities held at the Sporting Complex in Punta Gorda.
