Legal battle against the Attorney General and the Judicial and Legal Services Commission. The case centered around a complaint Enriquez filed against High Court Judge Tawanda Hondora, accusing the judge of bias and misconduct during a court matter in 2025. Enriquez claimed the judge was overheard making prejudicial comments during a lunch break while his microphone was still on. After waiting more than seven months for a response from the JLSC, Enriquez took the matter to court, arguing that the commission failed to act in a timely and transparent manner. Justice Martha Alexander ruled in favor of Enriquez and ordered both the Attorney General and the JLSC to pay his legal costs. The judge also criticized the JLSC for what she described as poor and unreasonable handling of the complaint. Enriquez says he will continue his legal fight, including another case challenging the dismissal of his complaint against Justice Hondora. He also says the ruling is a victory for ordinary Belizeans seeking justice and accountability.
