Climate Week 2026 began on Thursday, August 20th, in Punta Gorda Town with the Green and Blue Finance Forum. On the second day, a vibrant parade was held, led by the Corozal Community College Drumming and Dance Band. After the parade, the opening ceremony and festivities took place at the PG Sporting Complex. The event brought together community members and stakeholders to promote environmental awareness and highlight the importance of protecting Belize’s natural resources.
