Cattle Landing Village Council Public Meeting

Holding political office comes with responsibilities. One of those responsibilities is meeting with the people who elected them and providing reports on their governance. Sunday May 17th, the Cattle Landing Village Council held a meeting to update residents on how the village is being governed. This is an area where the Punta Gorda Town Council has fallen short, as it has not held a public meeting in months. However, Cattle Landing Village is leading by example by meeting with its residents and engaging in discussions about important community matters. During the meeting, the council explained the challenges surrounding garbage collection. More importantly, they informed residents that, sooner rather than later, villagers will receive the lots that were sold to them during last year’s election season.
