Will the drains be fixed on North Street Punta Gorda Town.

The Punta Town Council was elected more than two years now and finally some works are being done to the streets. One of the streets being fixed is North Street where the Uno Gas Station is located. Many residents are asking the question, will the drains on this street be fixed? Residents are concerned that if the contractors only pave the street without proper drainage, then we may be having similar problem like what happened in Belize City when they cemented the streets with no drains. The results are lots of flooding. Residents are appealing to the council to do it the right way which includes fixing the drains. We will keep bringing you updates.
