Vocational training Graduation Ceremony

The Toledo Institute for Development and Environment (TIDE), and the Department of Youth Services (DYS) with financial support from the US Embassy through the Central American Regional Security Initiative (CARSI) held a vocational training graduation ceremony at the Punta Gorda town hall for 37 unemployed youths of the Toledo District. 15 youths completed an Introduction to Electrical skills facilitated by Daniel Sam; 12 youths completed Building Repairs and Maintenance, facilitated by Wilfred Usher and 10 youths completed plumbing facilitated Mr Orlando Muschamp. At the end of the training, each graduate received a tool grant to assist them to put skills to immediate use.
