Toledo Community College leads seaside cleanup.

Last week, third and fourth-form students of Toledo Community College gave the coast of Punta Gorda a massive clean-up. Approximately 50 students participated in collecting garbage from the Uno Gas Station to the Cattle Landing Curve. These students were led by Yusef Vernon and other teachers of TCC, who also participated and supported them. It was the first coastal clean-up after Covid-19 held by TCC. It was a very successful cleaning where students painted signs and planted them along the coast to remind citizens to dispose of garbage properly.
