In Toledo, some best artists have come and gone, but their music is still alive and popular. Andy Palacio is one of the famous artists raised and born in Barranco Village. He was born on December 2nd and would have been celebrating his 62nd birthday today. He is well-known for his Punta music. Andy Palacio was the first Belizean artist to have a video on International Television and received an award for Best New Artist at the Caribbean Music Awards in 1991. Continue to Rest in Peace Andy.
