Maya Mountain Exports another shipment of Cacao.

The Maya Mountain Cacao Ltd is a post-harvest facility founded in 2010 here in Toledo. MMC placed our country Belize on the specialty Cacao map, as a pioneer with the centralized fermentation social enterprise model. MMC exported a total of 85 Metric Tons to the USA and Europe market during 2021. A total of 358,183 pounds of cacao were purchased from 372 farmers within 27 villages in the Toledo and Stann Creek Districts, which is equivalent to more than $358,000 paid out directly to farmers since the beginning of this year. Once again MMC celebrates another successful season of Cacao harvesting and is ready to share this high commodity with the World.
