World Diabetes Day 2024

Thursday November 14th, the People’s Diabetes Foundation held its Diabetes Walk and Health Fair at the St. Peter Claver R.C. School Field. The event saw participation from several attendees, including school groups who took part in the walk and formed a large circle. During the health fair, various organizations were present to share information about their work and services. Each year, the PDFB selects a district to host its planned activities in observance of World Diabetes Day, this year Punta Gorda Town was chosen. The event was a success as they continue their effort in spreading awareness on the effect of diabetes throughout the country.
