It is with deep sadness that we announce to you the sudden death of Jaheed Lopez, a young and vibrant citizen of Toledo. Jaheed Lopez lost his life in a tragic accident that occurred on the Hummingbird Highway last week. Everyone in Punta Gorda is saddened by this news. Jaheed was always a vibrant and friendly person who had a passion for football. He was one of the few individuals from Toledo who received a football scholarship from the University of Belize.
