Enriquez is asking the High Court to declare the Commission a public authority subject to the Freedom of Information Act, which would require it to provide citizens with access to information concerning elections, electoral boundaries, and related matters. The legal action follows a request Enriquez submitted in June seeking details on the steps taken toward redistricting.
