Push To Save PG Flight Service

The Toledo First Movement is requesting an urgent meeting with Tropic Air management to discuss the possible discontinuation of the airline’s service to Punta Gorda. In a letter dated October 24, the advocacy organization proposed a subsidy arrangement to help maintain the route and ensure continued air connectivity for residents of the Toledo District. The group is seeking to meet with Tropic Air between October 26 and 30, ahead of October 31, to explore practical options for keeping the service operational. The Toledo First Movement also highlighted the community’s longstanding support for Tropic Air and says it is prepared to discuss a potential subsidy and other arrangements that could provide a sustainable solution for both the airline and the district.
