One of the most pressing issues facing the Toledo District recently is land rights. PGTV has consistently reported on and brought to the attention of the authorities the tensions between communities surrounding this situation. According to one landowner, threats were recently made against his workers on privately owned land. In response to the numerous complaints regarding land issues, five ministers visited San Marcos Village on Friday to meet with villagers and village leaders.
