Earlier this month, Tropic Air issued a release stating that it would cease flights to Punta Gorda. Following extensive advocacy and relentless efforts by the People’s National Party, the citizens of Punta Gorda, and the BTIA Punta Gorda branch, Maya Island Air announced, just days before Tropic Air’s flights to Punta Gorda were set to end, that it would return to Punta Gorda beginning November 1st.
