Every year on the 19th of November, the streets of Dangriga come alive with one of the largest and most vibrant parades in the country, held in honor of Garifuna Settlement Day. Year after year, the parade grows bigger, brighter, and more festive filled with drummers, dancers, cultural groups, schools, and community organizations proudly displaying Garifuna heritage.
