As a part of the milestone 20th anniversary celebration for Battle of the Drums, the event honored and inducted several key figures into the first- ever Battle of the Drums Hall of Fame. The recognition highlighted individuals and organization who have played instrumental roles in preserving, promoting and elevating Garifuna culture. Among those honored were Wil Maheia and PGTV, both acknowledged for their long- standing support, contributions and commitment to the growth of the Drums movement over the years.
