December 9th is observed globally as Anti-Corruption Day, and in the days leading up to it, PGTV will be highlighting cases of alleged corruption across the Toledo District. We take you to the Indian Ville area, where more than six years ago a contract was signed, and funds were issued to a contractor to build an artificial turf for the young people of Toledo. It was a project filled with promise, but one that never came to life. PGTV has been reporting on this stalled project for years, and recently, our coverage caught the attention of the minister. A Facebook post soon surfaced online showing what appeared to be works underway at the site, suggesting that the project had finally restarted. But when PGTV visited the location, we found no activity at all. No workers. No equipment. No progress. So, we must ask: Was that Facebook post simply a ruse? an attempt to quiet public concern and give the impression that something was happening? Or is this yet another example of corruption at work? You be the judge.
