Despite this, the government has made little to no progress in advancing the process. While the government has hired top attorneys to defend its position in court, the Belize Peace Movement remains steadfast. The group is now calling on the Belizean people to join their movement and demand that the government carry out the redistricting exercise to ensure a free and fair election.
