Are Toledo Rice Farmers getting a fair price for their rice?

Last week we reported to you that once again Toledo Farmers are happy that the roads are fixed and now, they can get their rice out to the mill.  In that moment, everyone seems happy as the farmers were taking their rice to the mill for sale.  Now, the disappointing part is that farmers are complaining that the marketing board is only paying 29 cents per pound. With the high cost of things these days and rice costing $1.00 and more per pound at the stores, it seems unfair for the farmers to be making so little per pound for rice.  We will keep following the story.
