While many marked the patriotic 10th day of September with parades and festivities, the Columbia River Keepers chose a different path. One rooted in environmental stewardship. In honor of the national holiday, the group organized a river cleanup. Rather than marching through the streets, volunteers took to the water, removing debris and raising awareness about the importance of protecting local ecosystems.
