alert following recent warnings about the threat posed by the New World Screwworm. The
New World Screwworm, previously known for affecting animals, can also pose a risk to
humans. Like most deses, early detection and prevention is key. the public should be
vigilant and to report any suspicious wounds on livestock or pets.
