A Total Of Eight Teachers From Punta Gorda Graduated Last Week In GTH

Last week a graduation ceremony was held for eight teachers at George Town Technical High school. There were four teachers from Julian Cho Technical High school namely, Evon Lino, Pedro Ack, Denfield Rodriguez, and David Iche and four from Toledo Community College namely, Shirlene Casimiro, Allen Zuniga, Hilton Garbutt, and Mark Tillett. What makes this graduation remarkable is that our teachers graduated with honors and distinction. The course completed was in Competency Based Education and Training CBET, from the University of the West Indies St. Augustine campus, Trinidad and Tobago. Apart from the Diploma in Education, they were all certified as level 4 Assessors, Assessors are able to administer vocational practical exams throughout the Caribbean and in some international countries. We want to congratulate all the teachers for their accomplishments as this will be an asset for their teaching institution.
