The Belize Progressive Party strongly condemns the continuous rise of fuel in the country of Belize. The majority of people who have businesses in Belize are small micro entrepreneurs along with many small farmers and those in the tourism industry. BPP believes that the high price of fuel is influencing the economy of Belize in a negative way and it is the poor people that are carrying the load. The Belize Progressive Party call on all Belizean’s to protest against the high fuel prices by boycotting the agriculture show that will happen this weekend, to show their discontent with the high fuel prices.
