On Sunday April 22, 2018, Abib Palma along with several missionaries left Punta Gorda Town to go up the Sarstoon River and make a right to Graham Creek. Mr Palma along with his team went to build a well for the villagers who have suffered from a lack of water over the years. They were stopped by the Guatemalan Armed Forces and was told by the GAF that they were in Guatemalan waters. Elements within the government continue to deny that the GAF had taken over the Sarstoon but today was evident that the government is not telling the Belizean People the truth.
