Members of the Toledo Private and Lease Landowners Limited gathered on Saturday February 7th, at the Belize Bible College for an important meeting focused on land rights and next steps affecting landowners across the district. The meeting provided updates and discussion on key issues, including a legal review of the draft bill on Maya Customary Land Tenure, a summary of correspondence sent to Minister Zabañeh, the Prime Minister, and the Attorney General, as well as banking and financial matters affecting the organization. The session was held to keep members informed and engaged as discussions around land ownership and equity continue.
