Front Street Repairs Finally Begin

For years, Front Street, the primary thoroughfare into Punta Gorda, has been neglected. Both the PUP and UDP administrations have made numerous promises to address its condition, but none have been fulfilled. The PNP has consistently advocated for the improvement of this essential street. Although Front Street stretches over a mile, it is understood that only a small portion will be repaired at this time, with funding provided by the BTB.
