Saturday October 4th, marked what organizers say may have been the largest urban bird watch ever held in Belize. Ninety-six students from Toledo Community College joined local birders, tourists, hoteliers, and conservationists from across the country making for a fantastic start to the day’s festival activities. The Belize Territorial Volunteers is an organization that always likes to showcase Belize, especially the area near the borders. On Sunday October 5th, the Belize Territorial Volunteers took some of the visiting birders on an expedition along the Sarstoon-Temash River for more birding adventures.
