Belize was proudly represented on one of the world’s biggest stages during Super Bowl 60, as the Belizean flag was seen waving high during the halftime show viewed by millions around the globe. The proud moment came courtesy of Nyah David, a Belizean American backup dancer who took part in the electrifying halftime performance headlined by global superstar Bad Bunny. As the show unfolded, David boldly waved the Belizean flag, putting the Jewel front and center on an international platform. The powerful gesture did not go unnoticed. Belizeans across the country and in the diaspora quickly took to social media, sharing clips and screenshots of the moment, celebrating the visibility and pride it sparked.
