This weekend, a legend was laid to rest. Like many other notable figures in the football world, Andy Tillett was no exception. Friends and family gathered this weekend to lay Andy Tillett to rest at Mount Olivet Cemetery. Tillett was sent off in style. He was well known in the football community and remains the only Belizean to have served as President of the Toledo Football Association for 36 years, a remarkable achievement. Many tried to unseat him, but none were successful. Andy Tillett was laid to rest on Saturday June 13th. May his soul rest in peace.
