PG Street Project Unfinish

As the world prepares to observe anti-corruption day on December 9th, PGTV continues its commitment to highlighting areas of concern within our community. Today we take a closer look at issues surrounding the long-promised street upgrades in Punta Gorda town, more than three years ago the late honorable Mike Espat announced a major street improvement project for PG, however what residents see today tells
are very different story the project remains incomplete with little accountability for the
funds that were reportedly spent one of the most troubling areas is a street used daily by
hundreds of students despite assurance from both the mayor and the air representative
that the road would be fixed, it continues to deteriorate causing safety concerns for young
pedestrians and frustration for residents, as part of our anti-corruption day coverage PGTV
is pointing to this example as a clear instance where promises were made money was
allocated yet results remain unseen, raising serious questions of mismanagement one
potential corruption as we get closer to December 9th anti-corruption Day, PGTV will continue
to highlight instance of corruption within our community we encourage everyone to speak
out because when corruption goes unchecked it is the entire community that suffer.
