Earlier in the week, we told you about the cutting down of trees, including a Mahogany tree in the PG Central Park. By law, it is illegal to cut a tree without the Forest Department’s permission. People are outraged at this environmental crime, so we tried to get a response from the Forest Department but so far, they have not responded to our calls. We also received reports of the same kind of crime in the village of Bella Vista, where Mahogany trees were cut down in broad daylight, Again we did not get a response from the Forest Department. We will keep following this story.
