Oceana in Belize is one of Belize’s leading environmental NGO. Most people refer to it as an international NGO but really it is local. Last week, Oceana had its annual general meeting where it gave out awards. One of the awards given out is the Wavemaker of the year award where every district gets an award. This year’s Wavemaker for Toledo District is Ms. Desmaure Arnold. Congratulations Desmaure!!
