On Saturday residents of Barranco and other villages in Toledo East were unable to catch the bus to PG to do their Saturday selling of crops and buying their weekly supplies. This is due to the bad road conditions in those areas. The road is in such terrible condition that the Barranco bus broke a major part and now it is not operational. The operators of the Barranco and the Chubs bus had to ask the passengers to get out and assist with pushing the Barranco bus out of the mud that they call road. Villagers from Toledo East is appealing to the Government of Belize to please do something about the terrible road conditions. Yesterday the bus took three hours from Barranco to Punta Gorda which is approximately three miles.
