Another landmark has been established here in Punta Gorda Town for the late great musical icon, Queen of Bruk Down, Leela Vernon at #6 Front Street. The Leela Vernon Memorial Museum and Kriol Kulcha House and Botanical Garden is now open for viewing. As part of paying respects to one of her signature lines, “PG DAH MI TOWN, SO DONT YOU MESS AROUND”, this museum and botanical garden depicts the very livelihood of the great Leela Vernon.
