The Belize Peace Movement this weekend started with a journey from Belmopan that ended at the Sarstoon River. The purpose of the trip was to inform Belizeans about the risk that they will be taken if they vote Yes to the ICJ. The Belize Peace Movement strongly believes that Belizeans should vote No and that was the purpose of the Southern Tour. The Southern tour made stops in Bella Vista, Independence, Big Falls, San Marcus, Barranco, and Blue Creek villages and ended up with a trip to the Sarstoon Island. On the trip to the Sarstoon Island were students from the University of Belize and the Belize Territorial Volunteers.
