Violence Continues in PG

About a little after 5pm yesterday March 13th, report reaching us here at PGTV about a stabbing incident at a bar located in the new road area of Punta Gorda Town. Initial investigation revealed that a group of men were socializing at the establishment when a misunderstanding among two of the men led to one of them being stabbed in the neck with a broken bottle. The victim was transported to the Punta Gorda hospital while his attacker and another fled the scene on a motorcycle. The victim was identified as Luis Cabrera Jr. 19 years old of an Indianville address. About an hour and a half later, Cabrera died while being treated for his injury. The investigation revealed that one Alexander Ruiz of Trio Village was the individual who inflicted that fatal stab wound to Cabrera.  Confirmed report is that Ruiz didn’t make it too far; as he lost control of his motorcycle near the dump area on the PG San Antonio road crashed and killed his passenger identified as William de Jesus also of Trio Village. De Jesus was pronounced dead on the scene and Ruiz is in a critical condition at the Southern Regional Hospital.
