Govel Morgan Jr. was born in Peini, Punta Gorda, British Honduras, now modern-day Belize. Observing and imitating comical characters in the community was a thing he discovered he had a talent for. Govel Jr. believed in his parents’ teachings. He was encouraged to take his talent beyond the family dinner table. He recalls his father’s prodding to: ‘TAKE THE GIFT OF LIFE, AND SHARE IT”. That he has done by penning his imaginations, coupled with real events into powerful and deep novel themes.
