The lighting of the Christmas tree is something that many cities around the world do at this time of year. Punta Gorda town is no different from the other towns and cities when it comes to Christmas. On Wednesday night the public is invited to the lighting of the PG Christmas tree. The public is also encouraged to check out the Christmas trees made from recycled materials by our high schools. The Christmas tree made by TCC students can be seen at Belize Bank and the Christmas tree made by Julian Cho students can be seen at the Central Park.So come on out, bring the family and get into the Christmas spirit.
