The problem of waste generation and management have become a serious issue of concern to many who visit and live in Punta Gorda, town. Not disposing waste properly can pose a threat to public health and the environment. Many have the norm after using products to dispose of garbage where they are located. The recreational sheds along the sea of Punta Gorda have been the main targets over the years. This is about to change, the Punta Gorda town council have been putting up signs stating that littering is an offence and whosoever is caught in the act will be charged. We here at PGTV would like to congratulate the Punta Gorda Town council for stressing on this act.
