The Kidney association is an organization that dedicates its time to bring awareness, prevention and treatment to individuals who face kidney disease. The kidney association of Belize is doing a raffle to raise funds to assist dialysis patients who are in need of treatment. Throughout the years patients have died because of not being able to receive dialysis treatment with sufficient regularities. Patients with kidney failure need a maximum of three dialysis treatments a week; which amounts to a high-price. This past week the Kidney association was here in Punta Gorda raising funds for patients who are in need; several business entities in Punta Gorda town showed their appreciation.
