Monday, September 25, 2017. Relatively moist and unstable conditions prevail at the start of the work week. The general forecast for Belize and her coastal waters is for cloudy spells with a few showers and isolated thunderstorms over most areas.

Winds are easterly to south-easterly at between 10 and 20 knots, producing choppy sea conditions.

High temperatures today will range from the upper 80’s along the coast; to the low 90’s inland. It will be around 80 degrees Fahrenheit up at the higher elevations.

Low temperatures tonight will be around 80 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast; seventy three degrees Fahrenheit inland and 68 degrees Fahrenheit up in the hills.

The tides: a high tide occurs at 2:05 pm. This will be followed by a low tide at 7:43 pm.

The sunset today is at 10:16 am, and rise again at 5:42 am on Tuesday.

The extended forecast valid through to Wednesday is for showers and thunderstorms to continue over most areas of the country.
